It is almost time for the 2026 IEEE-IAS/ACA Cement Conference. This is the premier conference for cement industry professionals in the United States, and you will not regret it if you attend.

Taking place April 26-30 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the 2026 IEEE-IAS/ACA Cement Conference will center on the theme “Mix It Up.” Attendees are invited to explore technical content in new ways while strengthening opportunities for meaningful connections across the industry.
The event, sponsored by the American Cement Association, features more than 1,200 attendees; more than 450 companies and more than 200 exhibit booths.
New program elements include a dedicated poster session in the Poster Pavilion, reimagined learning formats and enhanced networking opportunities. Traditional roundtables are now “Cement Mixers,” taking place in the afternoon, and are designed to encourage deeper discussion and peer exchange.
The deadline to submit papers for the 2026 IEEE-IAS/ACA Cement Conference has passed, but organizers are now requesting papers for the 2027 Cement Conference to be held in the spring of 2027.
Papers should be on topics related to the practical application of electrical technology, standards, equipment, safety and systems of interest in cement industry within the scope of the Cement Industry Committee Working Groups.
All papers presented are subject to peer review and are published in the conference record. If you are interested in presenting a paper, please submit an abstract of 200 words or less to one of the Working Group Chairs for consideration. The deadline for abstracts for 2027 is May 1, 2026.
The 2026 conference will conclude on April 30, with a tour of Cemex’s Miami cement plant, including its quarry and dragline operations.
